Sports Safety

How do you keep your kids safe while playing sports, such as hockey?

Our Daddy MD Guide’s reply: I get asked this a lot, and two of my children play hockey. Like any sport, injuries happen, but would I keep my kids from playing a game they love? Not in a million years. That being said, you have to be the parent, and make sure protective gear is being worn for whatever sport they are playing. If an injury occurs, my rule is: No practice, no games, including the championship, until the injury is completely healed. No excuses.
